Job summary

MBDA seeks an analytical problem-solver to contribute to a range of analytical studies across all domains for Complex Weapons. Salary is circa £40,000 depending on experience, with hybrid working (2–5 days on-site). Security clearance: British Citizen.

The role involves responding to varied question sets using qualitative and quantitative techniques to support MBDA’s future battlespace understanding. As part of the Operational Analysis team, you will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Awareness of Operational Analysis, Operational Research, statistical analysis, or systems thinking.
• Written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Able to structure information, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Basic understanding of weapon systems physics and systems engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to diverse analytical questions using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Support MBDA’s understanding of future battlespace with rigorous analysis.
• Prepare reports and briefings for a wide range of stakeholders.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the UK.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity.
