MBDA is seeking an analytical problem-solver with an interest in military operations to support the Operational Analysis team. The role involves responding to diverse question sets using qualitative and quantitative techniques and delivering insights to inform future MBDA products.
You will work in a dynamic environment supporting studies for tomorrow’s systems, engaging with internal and external customers across areas such as Air to Air, Air Defence, Surface Attack, and Battlefield operations.
Circa £40,000 depending on experience
2 - 5 days per week on-site dependent on work classification

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
As an analytical problem-solver, with an interest in military operations, the successful candidate will be able to respond to a wide variety of question sets that demand the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Curiosity, creativity, and analytical expertise must be combined with excellent communication skills to support MBDA's understanding of the future battlespace.
As part of the Operational Analysis team within MBDA you will be working in a dynamic, forward looking environment, supporting studies for the MBDA systems of tomorrow. Emphasis is on how future MBDA products will be used and how they can contribute to operational capability for the customer in a cost-effective way. The team has a wide range of internal and external customers, which provides a high level view of business activities and lots of variety in all domains: Air to Air, Air Defence, Surface Attack, Strike & Battlefield. Tasks range from short duration (often-requiring short notice responses) to longer-term support to UK MoD Programmes or Research and Technology contracts.
