Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Senior OpenShift Platform Operations Lead to own the operational performance, resilience and security of OpenShift estates at scale. You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, SRE and Security to define standards, lead incidents and drive improvements across multiple environments.

Hybrid UK-based role with on-site presence required at Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh, plus on-call duties and a focus on operational excellence, governance and reliable service

Qualifications

Extensive experience operating large-scale OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
Proven track record leading platform operations, incident management and service recovery.
Strong understanding of security controls including RBAC, certificates and secrets management.

Responsibilities

Lead operational outcomes across the OpenShift platform estate, ensuring security and resilience.
Define and embed operational standards, runbooks and governance across incident management and platform lifecycle.
Provide leadership during major incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams.
