Job summary

Bank seeks a Senior OpenShift/Kubernetes Platform Engineer to lead the enterprise container platform across hybrid clouds. The role emphasizes automation, security, resilience, and platform modernization, working with DevOps practices and cross-functional teams.

Candidate will design, implement, and operate OpenShift and Kubernetes environments, and drive IaC-based automation, CI/CD integration, and platform governance to support mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in OpenShift/Kubernetes platform engineering in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux administration, container technologies, hybrid clouds.
• Hands-on with OVN-K, Ceph/CSI, Quay, Argo CD/GitOps, Velero, Ansible, Terraform.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, and Go; strong IaC, configuration management, CI/CD, Git, DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and improve the enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platform.
• Ensure platform stability, security, and performance across hybrid clouds.
• Lifecycle management: installation, upgrades, patching, maintenance, decommissioning.
• Design, implement and operate container platforms and templates.
• Develop automation via IaC; build reusable automation frameworks.
• Design and maintain GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to enable cloud-native workloads and DR capabilities.
