EDF UK is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to maintain and optimise onshore wind assets across our Fenlands portfolio. You’ll work with a skilled team on planned and reactive maintenance, improving turbine availability and safety.

Based at the Fenlands Service Centre near Whittlesey, Peterborough, you’ll typically work 37 hours per week with overtime. A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to other UK sites are required.

Formación

• Some previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• Experience on three-phase electrical systems or heavy plant electrical equipment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ability to live within approximately 45 minutes of the Fenlands Service Centre (PE7 2EU).
• Ability to work at height and travel to other UK sites when required.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines.
• Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Reporting and planning daily maintenance activities.
• Managing local spare parts and consumables stock.
• Completing proactive repairs and component replacements to reduce downtime.
• Supervising contractors and subcontractors when required.
• Delivering safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota and responding to turbine breakdowns.
• Helping maximise turbine availability across sites.
