Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to lead clinical care in Oncology. You will be registered with the NMC and bring mentoring and multi-specialty surgical experience to inspire junior colleagues and maintain high standards of patient care.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with weekend work, and salary up to £51,000 per annum, with a benefits package including private healthcare and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council).
• Post-registration experience in nursing (clinical practice).
• Mentoring and teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-specialty surgical procedures and management.

As a Senior StaffNurse at our Guildford Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
