Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse in Oncology for a permanent, full-time role that includes weekend work. Salary up to £51,000 per annum and 37.5 hours per week.

You must be NMC registered with post-registration experience, mentoring skills, and knowledge of multi-specialty surgical procedures. Teaching and assessment, plus management qualifications, are preferred to support leadership in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC.
• Post-registration experience with mentoring and knowledge of multi-specialty surgical procedures.
• Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities.
