Job summary

The Harbour Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Oncology Department in Poole. This full‑time role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £48,500 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include delivering high‑quality patient care, acting as an advocate for patients and staff, and supporting the lead nurse in clinical shifts. A robust shift pattern is expected.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with valid registration.
• Diploma/DSc in Nursing studies.
• Mentorship qualification ENB 998 or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English at A-C or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 months post‑registration clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of patient care in line with policies and procedures.
• Promote service user wellbeing and advocate for junior staff.
• Deputise for Sister/ Charge Nurse and lead clinical shifts where required.
• Deliver individualized patient care and evidence-based practice.
