Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Junior Sister to join the Oncology and Haematology Day Unit at Weston General Hospital. You will coordinate day-to-day running, lead nursing teams, and ensure safe delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatments in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with post-registration oncology/haematology experience, excellent communication, and UK SACT competency.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Registration.
• UK SACT competency.
• Post-registration experience in oncology/haematology nursing.
• Leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day running of the unit and oversee delivery of SACT.
• Provide leadership, support and supervision to junior staff.
• Deliver complex patient care, manage toxicities and educate patients.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
