Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to lead the Oncology Outpatient Service. The role requires clinical leadership, safe delivery of chemotherapy and related therapies, and supervision of nursing and support staff across outpatient sites.

You will act as a role model for high standards of care, support service development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse with appropriate UK registration and licence.
• Evidence of post-registration academic achievement at degree level.
• Leadership/management qualification or evidence of leadership experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Oncology Outpatient Department ensuring safe, compassionate patient care.
• Provide clinical leadership and role modelling to nursing staff.
• Manage and deliver Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT) safely in a nurse-led environment.
• Support and develop nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams across sites.
• Contribute to governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives.
