Job summary

GSK seeks a Clinical Development Lead (CDL) for Oncology GU. You will shape the clinical strategy, scientific narrative, and integrated benefit–risk framework across the asset lifecycle, leading governance and strategic decisions with MDT partners.

You will mentor Senior Scientists and partner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Commercial to align on asset strategy. The role requires 10+ years in pharma or related fields, with GU oncology expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Minimum 10 years’ pharmaceutical or relevant scientific/clinical experience, with oncology focus.
• Evidenced strong disease area knowledge in GU malignancies (bladder cancer).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex matrix environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own asset clinical strategy, scientific narrative, and integrated benefit–risk framework across the asset lifecycle.
• Lead governance and investment discussions translating clinical evidence into strategic recommendations.
• Serve as senior clinical strategy leader on MDT core quad, interfacing with MDL and asset governance.
• Mentor CDL talent and drive talent development within the Oncology Clinical Development function.
