Job summary

Searchandselect seeks a Senior New Business & Risk Officer to support onboarding and ongoing client relationships, ensuring due diligence, regulatory and internal requirements are met. The role identifies, assesses and escalates financial crime, regulatory and operational risks while protecting clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing regulatory risk in a large financial institution.
• Strong attention to detail delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to lead onboarding and risk review projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding workflows and ensure complete risk assessments, checklists and required searches.
• Liaise with Intermediaries and Relationship Managers for information for onboarding and reviews.
• Provide Senior Onboarder sign-off for onboarding and trigger reviews with data accuracy.
• Oversee enhanced CDD for higher-risk/PEP relationships with appropriate documentation.
• Support production of management information and risk indicators.
• Support FATCA and CRS requirements and classification reasonableness checks.
• Support Approved Introducer risk reviews and provide feedback and guidance.
• Act as subject matter expert and support business and change initiatives.
• Develop and cross-skill colleagues, sharing knowledge on onboarding, CDD and reviews.
• Identify improvements to processes, controls and documentation.
