Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is hiring their first engineering lead in London to build out a global OMS. You will own end-to-end development of trade-flow apps, integrate vendor OMS/EMS with bespoke systems, and modernise the platform on AWS/Snowflake with a modern UI stack.

You will work directly with portfolio managers, traders, and operations to define requirements, accelerate delivery, and improve speed, control and transparency across the trade lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' OMS/EMS experience building and supporting order/execution workflows.
• Strong hands-on skills in C# or Python and advanced SQL.
• Experience with AWS/Snowflake and modern UI frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and translating complex ideas into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build trade-flow applications and reporting tools.
• Enhance OMS/EMS workflows across asset classes and integrate with in-house systems.
• Collaborate with PMs, traders, operations and tech leadership to define requirements and ship solutions.
• Lead cloud migration, uplift data models and pipelines, and set engineering standards.
• Own production quality and provide escalation coverage during market hours and EOD.
