Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Construction Manager – OHL to lead the safe and efficient delivery of major overhead line projects across the UK, with site travel as required. The role requires strong OHL expertise, leadership in multi-disciplinary teams and solid NEC4 contract knowledge.

Based in the United Kingdom, you will work closely with clients, designers and supply chain partners to ensure safety, cost and programme targets are achieved in a demanding transmission infrastructure

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of OHL construction.
• Ability to plan and lead construction programmes.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, efficient construction delivery of complex OHL projects from mobilisation through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Set and maintain high standards of safety, quality, environmental performance and construction productivity.
• Develop, review and manage construction programmes, methodologies and sequencing.
• Build collaborative relationships with clients, designers, land teams and subcontractors.
• Manage labour, plant, materials, logistics and site establishment plans.
