Job summary

Expro is seeking a site-based offshore technician to assist with the preparation and running of offshore equipment, under supervision, to ensure safe operations and high-quality service in line with company procedures.

You will participate in toolbox talks, liaise with client representatives, and mentor subordinates while ensuring proper documentation and onshore prep if required.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade.
• Formal technical qualification.
• Extensive working/technical experience in an offshore environment preferable.
• Cementing Operations
• Running of Service Packers & Abandonment Operations
• Liner Hanger & Expandable Casing Accessories
• Wellbore Clean-Up Operations

Responsibilities

• Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion.
• Ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for their compliance and they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
• Carry out and ensure participation from team in tool box talks and planning meetings.
• Ensure that site support requirements are planned and executed as required.
• Liaise with client representatives, participating in meetings and discussions as required ensuring continuous quality of service to client.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements.
• Actively mentor subordinates to share knowledge to assist with their competency progression.
• Liaise with the team members and operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensuring safe operations and task completion
• May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, return of equipment and report preparation

Overall Purpose of the Job
