Job summary

Johnson Controls Offshore is seeking a Senior Metering Technician to oversee offshore metering systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance on critical assets. The role requires hands-on maintenance, data verification, and collaboration with client teams to uphold safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with third-party MMS software, perform fault finding, and drive continuous improvement while working within a dynamic offshore environment.

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering and SVQ Level 3 in Measurement Processes are essential.
• Engineering apprenticeship is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar metering role in energy.
• Advanced knowledge of metering and measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure metering system uncertainty remains within limits via maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain primary and secondary metering equipment and analyzers.
• Perform daily metering checks, trend analysis and system health monitoring.
• Lead safe start-up and shutdown of measurement systems and analysers.
• Manage 3rd‑party metering software (MMS) and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct fault-finding and propose improvements.
• Support isolations and reinstatement activities with calculations and data validation.
