AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks a senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer to support offshore wind structures, from concept to operations, focusing on materials selection, corrosion protection, fabrication processes, welding specifications, and lifecycle integrity.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams ensuring quality and compliance with DNV/ISO/AWS standards, contributing to risk assessments and supplier engagements across fabrication, installation and maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Significant offshore wind/oil and gas, marine, or heavy industrial project experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore structural materials, fabrication processes, and corrosion mitigation.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist input on material selection and specifications for offshore structures.
• Develop corrosion protection philosophies and review coating systems and TSA/galvanizing strategies.
• Develop and review welding specifications, PQRs, and fabrication documentation.
• Ensure compliance with codes (DNV, ISO, EN, AWS) and support QA governance.
• Interface with design, fabrication, and asset integrity teams throughout the project lifecycle.
