Job summary

Valaris PLC is seeking an experienced offshore supervisor to lead maintenance on hydraulic systems and ensure safety compliance. You will manage defect tracking, planned maintenance, and field personnel while coordinating with Chief Mechanic and other department heads.

The role requires at least five years offshore supervision experience, strong English communication, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years offshore experience with increasing supervisory responsibility.
  • Fluent English communication skills (both written and oral).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform emergency duties as per Station Bill and Emergency Procedures manual.
  • Complies with HSE policies and contributes to continuous improvement.
  • Prepares and maintains defect lists for hydraulic equipment on board.
  • Maintains familiarity with hydraulic machinery and systems under control.
  • Monitors equipment performance daily and informs Chief Mechanic of issues.
  • Plans and executes preventive maintenance with weekly overview.
  • Prioritizes tasks on safety and environmental critical equipment.
  • Inspects, services, maintains, tests, and repairs hydraulic systems.
  • Compiles reports on major equipment failure and maintenance history.
  • Maintains the maintenance management system and supports mentoring.
