Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator IV to lead field teams in Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance across offshore and onshore environments. You will provide technical leadership, supervise crews during rig‑up, operation, troubleshooting, and rig‑down, and ensure adherence to project procedures and safety standards.

The role requires extensive P&M experience, strong fault diagnosis skills, and offshore certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance (P&M), pipeline services, or related oil and gas operations with field leadership experience.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in leak testing, nitrogen services, hydrotesting, pigging, mechanical bolting, and pipeline commissioning/maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues in the field and implementing corrective actions.
• Hold a valid UKNS Offshore Survival certificate and current offshore medical certification.
• Maintain required certifications and competency to work in the UK offshore sector.
• Knowledge of PTW systems, risk assessments, COSHH requirements, offshore safety management, and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills for coordinating teams and engaging with clients.

Aufgaben

• Lead the execution of Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance services across offshore and onshore sites.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution and oversee field crews.
• Supervise and coordinate field operators during rig‑up, operation, troubleshooting, and rig‑down.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nitrogen equipment, pumps, bolting systems and P&M gear.
• Lead risk assessments, PTW processes, toolbox talks, and safety analyses on projects.
• Review technical reports, maintenance records, and test documentation for accuracy.
• Act as key customer contact on site for planning, decision‑making, and issue resolution.
• Mentor and develop junior operators to raise competency and operational excellence.
