Job summary

Ofgem is seeking a Manager, Offshore Cost Analyst to bring insight to major onshore and offshore electricity transmission projects. You’ll analyse costs, challenge assumptions and present clear conclusions to senior audiences, influencing decision-making for a secure energy future.

You’ll join the Major Projects division within a flexible, hybrid-working environment, with opportunities to grow your skills and impact while protecting energy consumers and driving value for the public purse.

Qualifications

• Ability to assimilate, analyse and summarise complex information quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present findings clearly.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead on cost valuations for transmission assets and projects.
• Perform detailed cost and econometric analysis to support efficiency.
• Draft reports and present proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage internal cost models and coordinate with external consultants.
• Plan work packages, track issues and ensure timely deliverables.
• Contribute flexibly to division resources to meet project deadlines.
