Job summary

Requirements of the role

This is a permanent opportunity to work on major projects that will play a vital part in our future energy system. You’ll get beneath the numbers, challenge assumptions and use your expertise to help ensure significant spending delivers genuine value for consumers.

You’ll join our offshore cost assessment team within the Major Projects division at a fascinating time for the energy sector. With major projects moving forward and new approaches such as Multi-Purpose Interconnectors emerging, there’s a lot happening – and you’ll be right in the middle of it.

What’s more, you’ll have plenty of chances to grow and develop your skills, gaining new perspectives, tackling increasingly complex challenges, and broadening your existing knowledge base.

We’re looking for someone with a proven ability to quickly assimilate, analyse and simplify a wide range of information, using their findings to identify trends and draw clear conclusions. You’ll be a fantastic communicator with strong IT proficiency and the ability to present complex and technical analysis in a clear, concise way to different audiences. As confident presenting as engaging at a senior level, you’ll be comfortable defending your analysis, debating and negotiating.
