Job summary

Optos PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Manager for OCT products to drive lifecycle management from strategy through to delivery. You will lead cross‑functional teams, translate clinical and market insights into detailed product requirements, and ensure timely releases aligned with quality and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to maximise product performance and value across the Silverstone, Hibiki, and Monaco

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a technical, scientific, engineering, business, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Product Management and/or Project Management desirable.
• Proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing projects from initiation to delivery.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate technical and commercial information and decision‑making.
• Collaborative team player with leadership across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product strategy and roadmap for Silverstone, Hibiki and Monaco.
• Translate needs into clear product requirements (PRDs/MRDs) with priorities.
• Create and maintain product plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate resources across R&D, clinical, quality/regulatory, operations and commercial.
• Manage day‑to‑day execution including backlog and release readiness.
• Enforce New Product Commercialisation governance for changes and releases.
• Drive risk management and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Understand revenue models and support business cases with Finance.
