WR Logistics is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Operations Specialist in Denton, Manchester, to manage import shipments from start to finish. The role focuses on FCL and LCL imports, pricing, quotations and customs procedures in a busy freight-forwarding environment.

You will develop competitive pricing, liaise with overseas agents, and ensure timely, accurate delivery while maintaining excellent customer service and cost control.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in import freight forwarding, especially ocean freight.
• Strong working knowledge of both FCL and LCL imports.
• Experience preparing sea freight pricing and customer quotations.
• Understanding of customs clearance, import duties and VAT payments.
