Do you have the skills to work and lead in Surgery + Critical Care setting? We seek a senior OT who can support the continued provision of high quality, patient centred therapy service adhering to evidence based practice to cover a Maternity period.

The Therapy Department benefits from an integrated approach to OT and Physiotherapy management whilst providing clear OT specific professional leadership. There is a strong commitment to staff training and development.

Whipps Cross Hospital is a District General hospital with 17 beds in Critical Care.

The surgical wards admit general surgery and gynaecological caseloads with occasional orthopaedic outliers.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard occupational therapy service to patients in the surgery team.

To co-ordinate occupational therapy staff working in these areas.
