Zusammenfassung

Provide CIC in Chelmsford is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Early Supported Discharge Team delivering community stroke assessment and rehabilitation in the Mid Essex locality. This Band 6, permanent post offers 37.5 hours per week within an MDT team.

You will work across the community pathway, manage a complex caseload, supervise therapy assistants and students, and contribute to service improvement while continuing your professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18 months post-registration experience (6 months within the UK)
• Experience working with stroke
• HCPC registration
• Qualified Occupational Therapist

Aufgaben

• Work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team within the Early Supported Discharge Team.
• Promote and develop a high-quality OT service in the Mid Essex Stroke rehabilitation service.
• Manage a complex caseload using client-centred, goal-orientated rehabilitation.
• Provide supervision to therapy assistants and OT students.
• Contribute to induction and training for junior staff, therapists, students and carers.
• Engage in Continuing Professional Development.
