Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Occupational Therapy team in Alnwick Infirmary seeks an enthusiastic OT to enhance patient independence and recovery. You will work closely with the MDT to facilitate early discharge and provide holistic care across elderly and rehabilitative settings.

The post offers opportunities for clinical development, involvement in leadership, quality improvement, audits and research, with supervision and robust appraisal processes to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MDT to support early discharge and coordinated care.
• Provide OT assessment and intervention across Care of the Elderly and Rehabilitation.
• Lead or participate in leadership, quality improvement, audits and research activities.
• Cover duties across North Tyneside, Northumberland and community hospitals, with Alnwick Infirmary as main base.
