Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist for the Rapid Response team based at Hull Royal Infirmary. The role focuses on rapid assessments, MDT collaboration, and interventions to optimise independence and timely patient movement.

You will contribute to planning, development and teaching while supporting to become a role model for the team and improving patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months UK experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to changing environments.
• Capable of rapid assessments and facilitating patient flow in acute settings.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients across a range of conditions with varying complexity.
• Provide input into assessment and treatment and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitate recovery, prevent deconditioning, promote wellbeing and independence.
• Support timely discharges and help prevent hospital admissions in acute areas.
