Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation Service on Welney Ward, Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely. The role focuses on holistic assessment, rehabilitation, discharge planning and specialist therapy within an MDT setting.

You will carry an autonomous caseload on inpatient wards, applying clinical reasoning to support patient flow and recovery.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration and ongoing professional development.
• Williness to undertake Fieldwork/Practice Educator qualification and stay registered with HCPC.
• Member of College of OT (COT) and active clinical practice in rehabilitation.

Aufgaben

• Provide autonomous practice within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage own caseload and assess patients with complex needs using clinical reasoning.
• Identify patient needs, set goals, and provide therapy interventions and equipment recommendations.
• Promote patient and carer participation in decision making and education to peers and students.
• Prioritise tasks, maintain high standard of care, and support the MDT meetings.
