SJB Medical seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Community Equipment Service (CES) team as Clinical Advisor. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering specialist clinical advice, governance, and equipment catalogue responsibilities to improve service efficiency and outcomes.

You will collaborate with commissioners, referrers and operational teams to ensure timely access to equipment, while supporting training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (required).
• HCPC registration (required).
• Significant post-qualification experience at a senior level.
• Strong experience within Community Equipment Services.
• Knowledge of clinical governance, legislation, and equipment provision.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist clinical advice to CES prescribers on clinical reasoning and risk management.
• Support and develop clinical governance, prescription criteria, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to development and review of the TCES equipment catalogue.
• Deliver training and equipment demonstration sessions for prescribers.
• Undertake audits, service improvement projects and data analysis to reduce risk and generate savings.
• Collaborate with CES managers, commissioners, health and social care professionals and suppliers.
