Job summary

Brainkind Hitchin is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care and slow‑stream rehabilitation for neurological conditions. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate OT programmes to enhance function and quality of life.

You will lead a small team of therapy assistants, develop group programmes, and collaborate on equipment provision and seating.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current HCPC registration
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Ability to work autonomously and lead others
• Strong leadership and team-working skills
• Desirable experience in neurological rehabilitation or related settings

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centred OT programmes
• Lead a small team of therapy assistants and activities coordinators

Senior Occupational Therapist Hitchin Salary: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum DOE Hours: 37.5hrs per week

You will provide an occupational therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

• Ability to build effective team working relationships and excellent leadership skills
• Desirable experience of working in a relevant setting, which can include practice placements
