Job summary

Priory Hospital Burgess Hill in West Sussex seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead clinically, assess patients and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering person-centred care. The role focuses on promoting independence, functional recovery and safe practice within an acute and psychiatric intensive care setting for adult males.

You will supervise junior staff, ensure high standards of documentation and contribute to clinical governance while working on site near Burgess Hill.

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical assessments, care planning, risk management and decision-making.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to junior occupational therapists, students and the wider therapy team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure practice meets professional standards, Priory policies and best practice guidelines.
  Priory Hospital Burgess Hill, Goddards Green, West Sussex is an acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult males. The hospital is close to the A23, providing road access to Brighton, Gatwick and the M25. Due to the rural location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
