Job summary

ScottishPower HQ in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Occupational Health Nurse Consultant to lead a multidisciplinary OH service across the UK. You will guide health assessments, surveillance and fitness-for-work evaluations while leading a small team of OH Nursing Advisors.

You will partner with Health & Safety and People & Organisation to drive improvements, ensure governance and deliver strategic wellbeing initiatives that protect our workforce.

Qualifications

• Registration as an RN and Occupational Health Practitioner on Parts 1 and 3 of the NMC Register.
• An Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
• Significant experience managing complex occupational health cases.
• Experience delivering health assessments, health surveillance programmes and fitness for work evaluations.
• Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, multidisciplinary occupational health service across the UK.
• Lead and develop a small team of Occupational Health Nursing Advisors.
• Conduct occupational health assessments, case management support and fitness for role screening.
• Monitor activity and maintain confidential clinical records in line with legislation.
• Influence wellbeing initiatives and drive improvements across the function.
