Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Health Adviser to oversee OH services across three acute hospitals and external organisations. You will lead the team, provide expert OH guidance, and drive staff wellbeing initiatives within a high-stakes NHS environment.

The role requires an OH Diploma or equivalent, registration, and NHS experience, with additional fringe allowance and recruitment/retention premia. Salary is complemented by a 5% HCAS and a £5,000 p.a.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the onlyacute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.

Job overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Occupational Health Adviser to provide an effective occupational health and wellbeing service to the three Acute Hospitals within the MSE Trust and external organisations, as contracted.

If successful you will actively participate and contribute to the development of a high quality Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service for all staff in the Trust and external organisations.

You will also proactively engage with all stakeholders in order to influence the health and well-being of the organisation and its employees and offer specialist advice on matters relation to occupational health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or hold Professional Registration, have a OH Diploma or equivalent degree and have experience as a Senior Occupational Health Adviser either in the private sector.
