Job summary

The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Obstetric Anaesthesia (Clinical Fellow MT04) on a permanent basis. The post is full-time (40 hours per week) with a salary of £67,325 per annum.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive anaesthetic care across elective, emergency and obstetric services. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, participate in the rota including out-of-hours commitments, and contribute to theatre activity,

Qualifications

• Medical Degree required.
• Significant experience in anaesthesia.
• Advanced Life Support certification.
• Primary FRCA (or equivalent) required.
• Active GMC registration or eligibility must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for elective, emergency and obstetric patients.
• Participate in the departmental full-shift rota, including nights and on-call duties.
• Support delivery of theatre activity, patient flow and elective recovery programmes.
• Contribute to safe staffing levels across anaesthetic, critical care and perioperative services.
• Work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe patient care.
