Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia to rotate across anaesthetic specialties and contribute to safe, high-quality perioperative care. The role offers access to cutting-edge facilities and opportunities to develop clinical skills within a large academic healthcare system.

The post holder will participate in a 48-hour/week rota including nights, weekends and on-call duties, supporting theatre activity, patient flow and recovery

Qualifications

• Provide anaesthetic care for elective, emergency and obstetric patients.
• Participate in the departmental full-shift rota, including nights, weekends and on-call duties.
• Support delivery of theatre activity, patient flow and elective recovery programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for elective, emergency and obstetric patients.
• Participate in the departmental full-shift rota, including nights, weekends and on-call duties.
• Support delivery of theatre activity, patient flow and elective recovery programmes.
• Contribute to safe staffing levels across anaesthetic, critical care and perioperative services.
• Work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain clinical standards, governance requirements and mandatory training compliance.
