Job summary

Renvolt Energy is seeking an experienced O&M Expert Technician to support our O&M Operations Team in the United Kingdom. This hands-on supervisory role provides technical support, mentoring, and supervision for on-site technicians, coordinating with the Area Coordinator to meet service requirements.

You will address technical challenges, ensure safe practices, conduct site visits, and help implement maintenance plans while ensuring high standards and effective communication with the team

Qualifications

• Degree/HND in electrical engineering or related discipline is essential.
• JIB/ECS Gold Card certifications is mandatory.
• 5 years demonstrated electrical engineering experience in the solar industry.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds Inspection and Testing qualifications.
• Experience with maintenance management processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the O&M Area Coordinator in coordinating the team, tools and equipment; ensuring resources meet work requirements.
• Address customer inquiries and provide technical support.
• Conduct site visits to assess and resolve customer issues.
• Supervise maintenance plan implementation and ensure safe working practices.
• Promote company procedures and guidelines within the technician teams.
• Coordinate with on-site teams and Remote Services (RO&ME).
• Participate in hands-on tasks with O&M Technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to on-call rota compliance and timely service delivery.
