Job summary

TECOSIM UK is seeking an experienced Senior NVH CAE Engineer with 8+ years of automotive CAE experience focused on Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH). You will lead complex NVH analyses and collaborate across vehicle development programs.

The role requires strong expertise in OptiStruct as the primary solver, plus hands-on experience with ANSA and HyperWorks for pre/post-processing and model correlation. You will mentor junior engineers and communicate results to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of automotive CAE/NVH experience.
• Strong experience with OptiStruct as NVH solver.
• Experience with ANSA pre-processing and modelling.
• Knowledge of transfer path analysis and ODS is advantageous.
• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead NVH CAE activities across vehicle development programs.
• Perform modal, frequency response, harmonic analyses.
• Correlate CAE results with test data and report findings.
• Identify root causes of vibration and recommend designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop NVH methods.
• Prepare technical reports and present to teams.
