Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Room Leader – Level 3 in Rickmansworth with a salary of £31,500 per annum for 40 hours per week in an Outstanding Ofsted nursery that embraces child-led learning. Qualifications

• A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above is essential.
• Experience in a senior nursery role (Room Leader/Senior Practitioner).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of practitioners.
• Passion for child-led learning and extending interests.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the room team, maintaining high standards of care and education.
• Plan and oversee engaging, child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and individual development.
• Support practitioners with observations, assessments and children's next steps.
• Mentor colleagues and encourage their professional development.
• Create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for children.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider nursery team.
• Support the nursery leadership team in maintaining its Outstanding Ofsted standards.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures are consistently followed.
