Job summary

Joining Careers Education is seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner for their nurseries in Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 7:30am–6pm, in a setting focused on Montessori ethos and in-house training.

The successful candidate will hold Level 3 in Childcare, have nursery experience for under-5s, and demonstrate strong EYFS knowledge and communication skills. A supportive path for career progression is provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare is essential.
• Previous nursery experience with children under 5 is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passionate, motivated, and a good team player who can adapt to a fun, inspiring working style.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Care for all children and meet their personal and hygiene needs daily.
• Create an environment suitable for the age and stage of the children.
• Keep children happy, settled and content.
• Observe, assess, and plan for individual needs and progress.
• Keep up to date with EYFS/Ofsted requirements and nursery policies.
