Job summary

Blossom Tree Montessori is hiring Nursery Practitioners, Senior Nursery Practitioners and Deputy Room Leaders for our nurseries in Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner. We offer in-house training, career progression and ongoing professional development to help you grow.

Hours are 40 per week, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. We value a nurturing, Montessori-based environment and promote from within wherever possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification or Montessori Diploma.
• Experience with children under five in a nursery setting.
• Strong understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Senior roles require leadership experience or potential.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a friendly, supportive team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly.
• Provide high quality care and meet daily personal care and wellbeing needs of every child.
• Create a safe, stimulating Montessori learning environment.
• Observe, assess and plan for children's individual learning and development per EYFS.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ensure children are happy, settled and making excellent progress.
• Keep EYFS/Ofsted documentation up to date and follow nursery policies.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Senior Nursery Practitioners and Deputy Room Leaders mentor staff and support room leadership.
