• The candidate should have Early Years experience and ideally a Level 3 Childcare qualification, with Montessori setting experience.
• A strong understanding of EYFS, Montessori practice, safeguarding and child development is essential, with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS and Montessori principles.
• Plan and support engaging activities promoting learning, independence and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's individual interests, needs, and developmental stages.
• Act as a positive role model and build relationships with children and families.
• Complete observations and assessments to track progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality practice.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and high standards of care.
• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
