Nursery: Old Crofts Bank Urmston, Manchester, M41 7AA

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £13.10 - £13.50 an hour (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus £500 Welcome Bonus

Hi, I’m Sarah, the Nursery Manager at Old Crofts Bank.

I lead a highly experienced and passionate team—many of whom have been with us for over 10 years and hold advanced qualifications and specialist training. We create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Our nursery is a home from home, filled with natural resources that spark curiosity. Each room is designed to meet the developmental needs of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, with spaces adapted based on children’s interests.

Our beautiful, tranquil garden offers opportunities for imaginative play, exploration, and connection with nature. Indoors and outdoors, children learn at their own pace and in ways that suit them best.

Mealtimes are social and meaningful, with children enjoying healthy meals in small groups and helping with serving to promote independence.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will help keep children safe, loved, and inspired. Your key activities include:
