Job summary

Shoots Childcare is seeking an apprentice to complete a Level 5 Childcare qualification with Hopcroft Childcare at the Meadow Road setting. You will support a small group of children, plan EYFS activities, observe progress and collaborate with staff to ensure safeguarding and daily routines are followed.

The role requires a 40-hour week with shifts to be discussed; DBS clearance is required and Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential. Onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

• Must gain a clear DBS.
• GCSEs English Language and Maths at least a C or equivalent (desirable).
• Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential.
• 1–2 years experience within a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Be a key person for a small group of children.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, inclusive environment.
• Plan and deliver activities based on the EYFS framework.
