Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, full-time role at a nursery in the UK. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, planning activities, observing progress, and delivering caring, educational support in a safe environment.

You will work with children across age ranges, providing high-quality care, appropriate play opportunities, and clear communication with parents about daily activities and progress.

Qualifications

• Essential: Early Years qualification Level 2/3.
• Experience of working with all age groups in Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a fantastic nursery on a permanent contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• You'll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
• Assist the Management team in providing the highest quality Childcare and Education, in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Provide appropriate play opportunities and interact in a positive manner with the child/ren whilst in our care.
• Assist in setting out rooms with resources and arrange furniture to enable children to access them
• Communicate effectively to parents/carers and with concise detail about their child's day ensuring good practice of shared information, which will benefit the child and parents/carers

Essential Requirements

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
