Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join a fantastic nursery on a permanent contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children, delivering high levels of care with empathy. An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 is required, and EYFS knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification Level 2/3 required or equivalent.
• Experience with all age groups in Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
• Assist the Management team in providing the highest quality Childcare and Education, in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Provide appropriate play opportunities and interact in a positive manner with the child/ren whilst in our care.
• Assist in setting out rooms with resources and arrange furniture to enable children to access them
• Communicate effectively to parents/carers and with concise detail about their child's day ensuring good practice of shared information, which will benefit the child and parents/carers
