Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a brand new nursery opening in Solihull, West Midlands to recruit a committed Nursery Registered Manager who can run every aspect of a busy early years setting.

You will lead day-to-day operations, safeguarding, curriculum delivery and staffing, ensuring high-quality care, compliance with EYFS and Ofsted, and strong partnership with families, with a salary of £35,000–£40,000 for 40 hours per week from 7am to 7pm, Mon–Fri, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 4 or higher early years or childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Paediatric first-aid qualification is required.
• Early Years Teacher Status or a relevant degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the nursery's daily operation, ensuring a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment for children, families and staff.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, promoting safeguarding culture and reporting concerns.
• Recruit, lead, develop and retain a competent nursery team, promoting teamwork and continuous professional improvement.
• Lead the delivery of a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, care and development.

Education
