Job summary

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd is recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager in Coventry. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations and support a dedicated Early Years team, ensuring high standards of care and education for children aged 0–5.

You will help provide a safe, nurturing environment, lead staff development, and engage with parents to support each child’s learning journey. Fixed shifts, full-time, 40 hours weekly, 51 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support Nursery Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Lead and motivate Early Years team.
• Deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences.
• Plan engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
• Record observations and support child development.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Cover Manager role when required.
