Job Opening: Senior Nurse (Palliative Care)

We are excited to invite applications for a Senior Nurse with a background in palliative care to join our dedicated and compassionate team at The Woodlands Inpatient Unit. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring exceptional care and a supportive environment for patients in their final stages of life. We seek a dynamic individual passionate about improving patient experiences, with excellent communication skills, and an active contributor to colleagues' development.

Key Requirements:
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Band 5 or Band 6 Registered Nurse with palliative experience
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and team collaboration

  • Hold the IMPaCT out-of-hours phone during weekdays and weekends to ensure continuity of care
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices and clinical guidelines

You will support patient journey from admission to discharge, identify risks, and develop actions to mitigate them, ensuring effective patient throughput. Demonstrating excellent leadership, communication, and a proactive approach, you will be passionate about excellence in patient care.
