The role involves senior clinical leadership under the Clinical Nurse Manager, delivering person-centred care, and ensuring high standards through supervision of staff and robust care planning.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience in senior nursing roles or management.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive care standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the unit's care and nursing teams to meet medical, physical and emotional needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive improvement.
• Oversee clinical elements and risks on the unit.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are current and reflect interventions.
• Act as Named Nurse for residents, updating care profiles.
• Supervise medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, and disposal.
