Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is hiring a Registered Nurse for Primrose Place care home in Coalville. You will join a forward-thinking provider with a brand new home, flexible 12-hour day and night shifts, and a supportive team focused on person-centred care.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning and delivering high-standard nursing care to adults with complex needs, alongside medication administration and being Nurse in Charge on shift. A first-level NMC PIN is required.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN is required.
• Background in Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing is welcomed.

Responsibilities

When open, Primrose Place will feature 36 en-suite bedrooms, across three units. Each unit will have its own dining room, lounge, and sensory bathroom.

Primrose Place will offer a caring environment where people receive the support they need, close to their loved ones.

About The Role

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

You’ll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• assessing, planning and providing person-centred nursingcare for the people we support
• the safe administration of medication
• promoting health and wellbeing
• being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
• managing situations when people display behaviours of concern
• promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect.
